WHAT: The CCES Science Fair is a voluntary, extracurricular, non-competitive family science fair. Instead of being judged, student will visit with a “Questioner” to explain the project and receive a participation certificate and Spirit stick.
WHO: It is open to ALL students of Cibolo Creek Elementary School.
WHY: We host a science fair annually to inspire a love of science.
HOW: 1. Complete the registration form by February 8th, return it to your homeroom teacher or the PTO box. Keep a copy for your file.
2. Choose an appropriate science fair project based on your age and grade.
3. Begin right away. You may work as an individual, a family or group to create a science project.
4. Display your project using a 3-section poster board. Bring your project with you the evening of the fair. You can purchase display boards from Walmart, Office Depot, Michaels, etc.
Come to the school for family fair evening. Please enter through the cafeteria doors to check in and receive your certificate and Spirit stick. Projects will be displayed in the cafeteria and down the hall. Stand by your project, explain and inform the “Questioners” and other science fair attendees about your project.
